The fall meeting at Keeneland Race Course kicks off Oct. 2 at the picturesque Lexington track with an opening day card highlighted by the Grade 1 Darley Alcibiades Stakes for 2-year-old fillies. The Alcibiades is a Breeders’ Cup “Win and You’re In” Challenge Series race that offers the winner a guaranteed starting spot in the Longines Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies on Oct. 31.
The Breeders’ Cup will be held at Keeneland for the first time in 2015, so excitement for this year’s fall meeting is magnified. Be sure to keep up with all things Keeneland on Instagram for a behind-the-scenes glimpse of one of the most anticipated meets in the track’s history.
