Meadowlands Begins All-Turf Meeting Oct. 1

The Meadowlands kicks off the first of 13 all-turf race cards Thursday, Oct. 1, with 73 horses entered across the six-race program.
Thursday's action will be highlighted by a $37,500 allowance feature at five furlongs, which goes as the third race on the program.
The Monmouth-at-Meadowlands meet runs through Saturday, Oct. 31, with live racing Thursdays through Saturdays, Oct. 1-10, followed by a Columbus Day card Monday, Oct. 12. Racing will continue on Fridays and Saturdays, Oct. 16-31.
Post time will be 7 p.m. nightly, with the exception of Columbus Day, when first post is 2:15 p.m. The track will announced later the post times for Oct. 30-31.
