Tickets on Sale for 'BC Bash' at Red Mile

Giving racing fans yet another alternative to experience the Breeders' Cup in Lexington, Breeders' Cup and Red Mile have opened sales for the "Breeders' Cup Bash," to be held Oct. 30-31 at the simulcast facility at Red Mile.
"With the strong ticket demand at Keeneland, we knew that it was important to build other ways for our fans to watch and wager on the Breeders' Cup," Breeders' Cup president Craig Fravel said in a release. "This very affordable event will meet that goal."
Tickets are $10 for admission that includes free parking and a program. In addition, limited seats will be available in "Wagers" for $40 that includes program and a full lunch buffet. Valet will be available as well for a premium.
Tickets can be purchased on line through breederscupfestival.com.
"To make sure our fans enjoy our $42 million facility upgrade, we are limiting ticket sales for this event," Red Mile chief financial officer Shannon Cobb said. "There will be added betting machines and increased food and beverage options for the 'Bash,' but we anticipate that capacity could be reached in ticket sales well before Breeders' Cup week."
