"The filly on the front, she looked like she was going pretty easy," said assistant trainer Jamie Begg. "The other horse—they're both turf horses—but I think he's purely turf. She can work over the dirt; I had her here all spring so she worked over this course a bunch of times. But it looked like they went pretty easy, I was happy with the work."
Also on the tab gearing up for Breeders' Cup Oct. 6 were Turf Sprint (gr. IT) hopefuls Undrafted and Green Mask.
Wes Welker and Sol Kumin's Undrafted, a 5-year-old Purim gelding who won the Diamond Jubilee (Eng-I) at Royal Ascot in June, covered five furlongs in 1:01 3/5 while working in company with grade I winner Sunset Glow. Undrafted was scratched from Keeneland's Woodford Stakes Presented by Keeneland Select Stakes when it was taken off the turf Oct. 3.
