Born in a Breeze Set for Bunty Lawless Stakes

Earle Mack's Born in a Breeze will try for a second straight stakes win and a third consecutive victory overall when the 3-year-old Leonnatus Anteas colt starts in the $125,000 Bunty Lawless Stakes Sunday, Oct. 11 at Woodbine.

With 15 horses entered, including one also-eligible, a full field is expected for the one-mile turf race for 3-year-olds and older, by Ontario sires.

Born in a Breeze secured the first stakes win of his career when he rallied from eighth place to win the restricted Vice Regent Stakes Aug. 30, also at one mile on the Woodbine turf, where he has won two of three starts with one third. Overall, Born in a Breeze has never finished off the board in six career starts with a 3-2-1 record and $120,013 in earnings.

The field also includes Gustav Schickedanz's Sweet Grass Creek, who enters off a pair of seven-furlong allowance race wins at Woodbine, one on the turf and one moved from the turf to the main track; and  Kingsport, a stakes winner on the Woodbine main track earlier this season.
