Bradester (inside) worked five-eighths of a mile in company in :58 3/5 Oct. 17.

Multiple graded stakes winner Bradester had his first work over the main track at Keeneland the morning of Oct. 17, breezing five-eighths of a mile in company in a quick :58 3/5 in preparation for the Oct. 30 Las Vegas Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile (gr. I).

"He worked really, really well," said Eddie Kenneally, who trains the 5-year-old son of Lion Heart for Joseph Sutton. "We wanted a good work today. Put him down on the inside (of the track) and he got some pressure from the outside. He seems to like the track. He'll work again next Saturday (Oct. 24) and then we're ready to go."

Bradester's victories include the Monmouth Cup Stakes (gr. II),  the Ack Ack Handicap (gr. III) at Churchill Downs and the Mineshaft Handicap (gr. III) at Fair Grounds Race Course & Slots. He is coming off a third to fellow Dirt Mile contender Valid in the $150,000 Philip H. Iselin Stakes (gr. III) Aug. 30 at Monmouth Park.
