The morning of Oct. 17 was another busy one for Todd Pletcher, as the trainer with a barn full of Breeders' Cup World Championships hopefuls sent five of his trainees out for workouts at Keeneland.

The workers, Breeders' Cup races under consideration (all grade I) and workout times were:

Dame Dorothy (Filly & Mare Sprint): four furlongs in :49, with fractions of :25 4/5 and :49; galloped out five furlongs in 1:01 2/5 and six furlongs in 1:14 1/5.

Red Rifle (Turf): four furlongs in :49, with fractions of :13, :25 3/5, and :49; galloped out five furlongs in 1:02 2/5 and six furlongs in 1:14 4/5.

Sweet Whiskey (Filly & Mare Sprint): four furlongs in :48 1/5, with fractions of :25 and :48 1/5; galloped out five furlongs in 1:01 2/5 and six furlongs in 1:14 2/5.

Stopchargingmaria (Distaff; worked in company with Uncle Vinny): five furlongs in :59 3/5, with fractions of :11 3/5, :23 2/5, :35 1/5, and :59 3/5; galloped out six furlongs in 1:13.

Mshawish (Mile): five furlongs in 1:00 with fractions of :35 4/5 and 1:00; galloped out six furlongs in 1:14.60.

"All in all it was a good morning," Pletcher said. "Dame Dorothy went very well this morning. She started off easy, finished up strong, and galloped out really well. Sweet Whiskey also went very well. Stopchargingmaria worked after the break and went super."

Pletcher said the connections of Alto Stable's Sweet Whiskey decided to pre-enter the grade III winner and grade I-placed filly in the Filly & Mare Sprint as a result of her effort in the Thoroughbred Club of America Stakes (gr. II), in which she finished fifth.

"We decided to pre-enter and see if we get in and what it looks like. I thought she ran well in the TCA, considering she had some traffic issues."

Pletcher said he will not have any Breeders' Cup workers on Sunday, Oct. 18.
