Travers Stakes (gr. I) winner Keen Ice turned in a steady breeze Oct. 17 at Churchill Downs, preparing for a rematch in the Oct. 31 Breeders' Cup Classic (gr. I) with Triple Crown winner American Pharoah.

Donegal Racing's 3-year-old Curlin   runner was clocked in 1:02 1/5 at the Louisville oval, with Tammy Fox in the irons. It was his fourth breeze since upsetting American Pharoah in the Travers for trainer Dale Romans at odds of 16-1.

Also on the Saturday tab for Romans was Sentient Jet Breeders' Cup Juvenile (gr. I) contender Brody's Cause, who went five furlongs in 1:01 4/5 under exercise rider Faustino Aguilar. A 2-year-old son of Giant's Causeway   who races for Albaugh Family Stable, Brody's Cause comes into the Juvenile off a victory in the Oct. 3 Claiborne Breeders' Futurity (gr. I).

Another Juvenile contender for the Albaughs, Unbridled Outlaw, went five furlongs in 1:02 2/5. The Unbridled's Song colt comes off a third in the Sept. 12 Iroquois Stakes (gr. III).

Romans sent out Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies (gr. I) potential Ma Can Do It, who races for Kyle W. Nagel and was third in the Oct. 2 Darley Alcibiades Stakes (gr. I) at Keeneland in her last start, as well. The Majesticperfection   filly went five furlongs in 1:02 1/5.

Romans breezed a total of 21 horses at Churchill the morning of Oct. 17, including grade II winners Birdatthewire, Keen Pauline, Cristina's Journey, and graded stakes-placed Sweet Swingin, O'Prado Ole, and Tarpy's Goal.
