Harmonize works at Keeneland Oct. 19.

Monday, Oct. 19, was a busy morning for Bill Mott as the trainer oversaw Keeneland workouts that included two hopefuls for the Breeders' Cup World Championships at the Lexington track Oct. 30-31.

Juvenile Fillies Turf (gr. IT) contender Harmonize, with Rodolphe Brisset aboard, worked in company with grade I winner Seek Again (jockey Julien Leparoux up), getting the four furlongs in :48 1/5. The 2-year-old Scat Daddy   filly went in fractions of :13 and :25 2/5 and galloped out five furlongs in 1:00 2/5and six furlongs in 1:14 3/5.

Tourist, with Brisset aboard, went four furlongs in :48 3/5, with splits of :13 and :25 2/5 and gallop out times of five furlongs in 1:01 2/5 and six furlongs in 1:15 2/5. Winner of the More Than Ready Mile Stakes at Kentucky Downs, the son of Tiznow   is owned by WinStar Farm LLC, Wachtel Stable, Gary Barber.

"She was just gliding along, moving well," Mott said of the Larkin Armstrong-owned Harmonize, who won Keeneland's JPMorgan Chase Jessamine (gr. IIIT) on Oct. 7. "Looks like she's done well since her race here. And Tourist, too. Everything seems to have gone quite well."

Mott said Seek Again, winless since winning the Fourstardave Stakes (gr. IIT) in August 2014 and ninth in last year's Breeders' Cup Mile (gr. IT), would not be pre-entered in the Breeders' Cup.

The trainer's third Breeders' Cup candidate is grade I winner Lea  , whom Mott said would be cross-entered in the Mile and Las Vegas Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile (gr. I). Lea is scheduled to arrive at Keeneland Monday, Oct. 26.
