KHRC Investigating Object Found at Keeneland

Though it provided few details, the Kentucky Horse Racing Commission announced Oct. 19 it is conducting an investigation into an object found in a test barn at Keeneland the previous day and is seeking the public's assistance.
According to a release from the Public Protection Cabinet, under which the KHRC falls, the investigation surrounds an"object" found Oct. 18 in Barn 21 at Keeneland, which is where the KHRC conducts its TCO2 testing. The release did not disclose what was found or at what time of the day.
"The KHRC encourages anyone with information regarding the object to contact them," the release said. "Information can be given anonymously by calling the KHRC's toll-free Integrity hotline at (866) 993-3949
