An international cast of 200 of the world’s best Thoroughbreds, including Triple Crown winner American Pharoah and 32 horses from overseas, has been pre-entered for the 2015 Breeders’ Cup World Championships.
In order to compete in the Breeders’ Cup, horses must be pre-entered in the races for which they are being considered. Horses can be pre-entered in more than one race, for example TVG Pacific Classic winner and two-time Breeders’ Cup winner Beholder was pre-entered in both the $5-million Breeders’ Cup Classic and the Longines Breeders’ Cup Distaff, with first preference for the Classic.
