Ten Broeck Farm's Sunset Glow and Al Shaqab Racing's Osaila, the 2-3 finishers behind undefeated Lady Eli in last year's Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf (gr. IT) at Santa Anita Park, headline a field of 14 3-year-old fillies and two also-eligibles for the $150,000 Pin Oak Valley View (gr. IIIT) Oct. 24 at Keeneland.
Run at 1 1/16 miles on the turf, the Pin Oak Valley View will go as the ninth race on Saturday's 10-race program with a 5:30 p.m. EDT post time.
Trained by Wesley Ward, Sunset Glow is seeking her first victory of 2015. Third in her most recent start against older fillies and mares in the Sept. 19 Ladies Turf at Kentucky Downs, Sunset Glow was third in the Appalachian Stakes (gr. IIIT) at Keeneland this spring and in the summer at Del Mar was second in the San Clemente Stakes (gr. IIT) and fourth in the Del Mar Oaks (gr. IT).
Rafael Hernandez has the mount from post 10.
Now in the barn of Todd Pletcher, Osaila returned to the U.S. from England in September and finished fifth in the Sands Point Stakes (gr. IIT). While trained by Richard Hannon, Osaila was a group III winner at Newmarket this spring and took a stakes during the Royal Ascot meet in June, Osaila will be ridden by Florent Geroux from the post 7.
"She's a beautiful filly, very straightforward," Pletcher said of Osaila, whose second dam is multiple French champion and Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe (Fra-I) winner Detroit (FR). "(Her) European form is quite good. She seems to be settling into American ways very well."
Pletcher won the Valley View in 1996 with Turkappeal to record his first stakes victory at Keeneland.
Osaila has two works on Keeneland's turf course. On Oct. 11 she breezed four furlongs on turf in :50 2/5. She received her second work the morning of Oct. 20, covering four furlongs in :49 3/5. Clockers caught her in fractions of :13, :26, :49 3/5, and out in 1:02.
Adding depth to the field are Include Betty, owned by Brereton Jones and Timothy Thornton, and William K. Warren Jr.'s Mrs McDougal.
Trained by Tom Proctor, Include Betty returns to the turf for the first time since the Florida Oaks (gr. IIIT) at Tampa Bay Downs in March. In her most recent start, Include Betty won the Remington Park Oaks and this summer won the Mother Goose Stakes (gr. I). Drayden Van Dyke has the mount from post three.

Mrs McDougal won the Lake George (gr. IIT) at Saratoga Race Course in July and most recently was sixth in the Sands Point. Trained by Chad Brown, Mrs McDougal will be ridden by Julien Leparoux from post 13.
