The last day to register online for presale of about 10,000 reserved seats for the 2016 Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands and Longines Kentucky Oaks (both gr. I) is Nov. 4, Churchill Downs officials said.
If any seats remain after the Nov. 10 presale, they will be available to non-registered fans beginning Nov. 12. The deadline to register online ends is midnight EST Nov. 4. Registration is available at www.KentuckyDerby.com/presale.
When the online pre-sale begins, registered fans will have a first-come, first-served opportunity to purchase up to six two-day packages of Derby and Oaks seats in locations throughout the track. Seats available through the online sale include box seats in the first and second floors of the clubhouse; dining tables on the Plaza Balcony with full hospitality packages; Section 110 seats on the first turn that include food and beverage; and stadium-style and bleacher seats in the grandstand.
Churchill Downs said its new partnership with Ticketmaster will make purchasing seats during the online sale "straightforward and reliable." Fans will be able to securely purchase their tickets online and on mobile devices and be assured that the legitimacy of their tickets is guaranteed.
Online and telephone customer service is available seven days a week, officials said.
