Mutatis Mutandis made her U.S. debut in the Flower Bowl, where she finished third.

The second- and third-place finishers from the Flower Bowl Stakes (gr. IT) Oct. 3 on the Belmont Park turf, Danza Cavallo and Mutatis Mutandis, are scheduled to meet again Nov. 7 in the $200,000 Long Island Handicap (gr. IIIT) on the Aqueduct Racetrack grass.

The placings of Danza Cavallo and Mutatis Mutandis in the Flower Bowl were flattered when the race's winner, Stephanie's Kitten, came back to win the Breeders' Cup Filly and Mare Turf (gr. IT) in her next start Oct. 31 at Keeneland.

Danza Cavalloowned by Michael Dubb, Sheep Pond Partners, Bethlehem Stables, and The Elkstone Groupenters the 1 1/2-mile Long Island off a runner-up finish in the Flower Bowl, where the 4-year-old Sunday Break filly led throughout before yielding to Stephanie's Kitten, finishing 1 1/2 lengths back. Danza Cavallo and Stephanie's Kitten are both trained by Chad Brown.

Chasemore Farm's Mutatis Mutandis made her U.S. debut in the 1 1/4-mile Flower Bowl, rallying from fifth early to finish third under jockey John Velazquez, who will be aboard again Saturday. Ed Walker, who conditioned the stakes-winning 4-year-old daughter of Mastercraftsman in Europe, continues to train.

Brown will also send out Waya Stakes (gr. IIIT) winner Goldy Espony, who saw a three-race win streak end in the Glens Falls Stakes (gr. IIIT) Sept. 5 at Saratoga Race Course, and Rosalind, who enters off a third-place finish in the E.P. Taylor Stakes (Can-IT) at Woodbine.

Also expected to send out a trio of horses is Christophe Clement, who has entered Highland Yard's Walk Close off a victory in the Modesty Handicap (gr. IIIT) at Arlington Park, China Horse Club's Crisolles off an allowance-optional claiming race win on the Belmont inner turf, and Ramona Bass's Courtesan off a runner-up finish in a stakes at Kentucky Downs.

Starting from the outside in the field is Pin Oak Stable's homebred Interrupted, a daughter of Broken Vow   who has won her last two starts, including the Lady Baltimore Stakes at Laurel Park.
