American Pharoah's Fee Set at $200,000

American Pharoah romped in Breeders' Cup Classic.

Triple Crown winner American Pharoah   will enter stud at Ashford Stud near Versailles, Ky., in 2016 for a first-year fee of $200,000, the American division of Coolmore Stud announced Nov. 6.

The 3-year-old son of Pioneerof the Nile   ended his career with an impressive romp in the Breeders' Cup Classic (gr. I) at Keeneland Race Course Oct. 31, and retired as the fourth all-time in purse earnings among all North American-trained horses with $8,650,300 and a record of nine wins and a second from 11 starts.

The fee for Scat Daddy  , the second-ranked sire of juveniles this year and ninth on the general sire list, will increase from $35,000 to $100,000. Coolmore also announced the fee for leading freshman sire Uncle Mo   will jump from $25,000 to $75,000 and leading second crop sire Munnings   from $12,500 to $25,000.
