G. Watts Humphrey's Frivolous, the three-time Churchill Downs stakes winner who was fifth in the Oct. 30 Longines Breeders' Cup Distaff (gr. I), is under consideration to face males in the Nov. 27 running of the $500,000 Clark Handicap Presented by Norton Healthcare (gr. I), which would be the final start of her career.
Trained by Vicki Oliver, the 5-year-old homebred daughter of Empire Maker is a winner of five races and $750,718 in 24 starts, with three of those wins and two thirds from seven starts coming at Churchill. She won last year's Falls City Handicap (gr. II) at odds of 19-1, this summer's Fleur de Lis Handicap (gr. II) at 32-1, and the Locust Grove in September as the 6-5 favorite.
"She's already won the Falls City and this will be her last race," trainer Vicki Oliver said. "She'll get some weight since she's a filly and it's a handicap race. If she gets some light weight, it's worth a shot. We've got nothing to lose."
