America’s Best Racing and BetAmerica team up to provide horseplayers with their best bets of the weekend in a regular feature blog that will run on Fridays.
Each week, one of our crack handicappers - Jose Contreras, Dan Tordjman, Victoria Garofalo, Mike Johnson or Vince Mathews – will provide at least one “Best Bet” of the weekend, ideal for a win bet. The post also will include some combination of additional bets for the weekend.
For some posts, our handicappers will try to identify a longshot play of the weekend, a nice opportunity to swing for the fences on a win bet or to take a shot with a show bet.
Our handicappers also will look for strong exacta plays for the weekend or occasionally try to spot a nice opportunity for other wagers.
Place your bets at BetAmerica, which prides itself on outstanding customer service combined with the safety and security of wagering with a reputable advance-deposit wagering platform. Place your bets and you can walk away with some extra cash in your pocket.

BEST BET/ WIN BET
Churchill Downs, Race 4, 2:15 p.m. ET
#5 Sixtyfivenorth: The 4th race at Churchill Downs on Saturday is a 7-furlong, claiming race, and I think Sixtyfivenorth has a solid chance at 15-1. Seven furlongs can be a tricky distance, especially for cheaper horses, and I like the fact that Sixtyfivenorth should have the necessary endurance for this race as she primarily has been competing in longer races in the recent past. Hopefully, jockey Rolando Aragon can work out a good trip and Sixtyfivenorth puts forth her best effort on Saturday.
EXACTA BOX
Aqueduct, Race 8, 3:50 p.m. ET
I think Indiana Stones and Broadway Bay look best in Aqueduct's eighth race on Saturday.
#1 Indiana Stones: This horse is coming off two consecutive third-place finishes and will have top jockey Irad Ortiz Jr. aboard.
#7 Broadway Bay: He showed improvement in his most recent race, where he finished in fourth after a pair of below-average efforts in August and September.
With some racing luck, hopefully Indiana Stones and Broadway Bay can complete the exacta in the eighth race at Aqueduct on Saturday.

EXACTA BOX
Churchill Downs, Race 4, 2:15 p.m. ET
The fourth race at Churchill Downs on Sunday is a wide-open contest for 2-year-olds looking for their first win. My top three are Fields Road (#2), Deep Explorer (#3) and Full Clip (#11). Fields Road and Full Clip finished fifth and sixth, respectively, in the first race at Keeneland Race Course on Oct. 22. The drop from a $20,000 maiden claiming race to 15,000 maiden claiming competition should help both of their causes. Deep Explorer is trained by Wesley Ward, who is always dangerous in 2-year-old races.
BEST BET/ WIN BET
Del Mar, Race 4, 5 p.m. ET
#6 Uninvited: I think Uninvited will prove best in the fourth race at Del Mar on Sunday. For starters, Uninvited is trained by one of the best trainers in the country, Bob Baffert, and his jockey is Triple Crown-winning rider Victor Espinoza. On top of that, Uninvited will be running in a route race for the second time on Sunday, which is should be advantageous for him as he is very likely to have more endurance for the distance this time around. Hopefully, Uninvited makes his third career race a winning one at Del Mar on Sunday!
