The overnight Nielsen rating for NBC Sports Group's "Summer at Saratoga" Aug. 24 broadcast highlighted by the Travers Stakes (gr. I) was 0.17, up 1% compared with last year's rating, according to the television ratings company.
A single national ratings point represents 1% of the total number of U.S. households with televisions tuned to the event.
The national rating for the program, which aired from 4:30-6 p.m. (EDT) and included the Foxwoods King's Bishop Stakes (gr. I), will be released Thursday, Aug. 29.
NBC Sports Group's live coverage of Saratoga Race Course's summer meet concludes Saturday, Aug. 31, with the Woodward Stakes (gr. I), Forego (gr. I), and Bernard Baruch Handicap (gr. IIT) airing from 4-6 p.m.
