The Florida Derby is a great excuse to break out your favorite spring looks and hit the track in style. I always love shopping for new looks for big events, but I also have to stick to a budget when I hit the shops. So I’ve put together some fashion inspiration with a Miami vibe to help you dress for success at the races on any budget.
Our first outfit has a pair of seriously cool floral-patterned shoes as the focal point of the look:

The wedges are from Forever21 and are $30; these are complimented by an electric blue dress by Dorothy Perkins for $44, a fuscia bag for $25 from GiGi New York, an emerald belt at $25 from Fossil and is topped off by a pair of Aldo chandelier earrings for $12. This brings the entire cost of the look to $136 – not too shabby for an outfit that will definitely get you through lots of spring events!
Our next ensemble gets its inspiration from the Miami art scene: it’s a little modern with some untraditional elements but still full of style:

Maxi dresses are a great option for the races, and I love the modern, geometric feel of this one from 2B Stores for $50. The wedge-heeled sandals are $44 from heels.com; the Dorothy Perkins clutch it $29; the cut-out cuff is $5 from Charlotte Russe; and the mod-inspired round sunglasses are $9 from 80sPurple.com. I think the perfect finish to this outfit would be a neon pink lip, and this Barry M version is only $7.39. All together, this look costs $144.39. Perfect!
Our third ensemble is built around the amazing skirt, which has jaguars and hibiscus flowers incorporated into the pattern. I need this skirt in real life and will probably order it.

The skirt, which is from LesPommettes.com, is $50; I paired it with a simple tank from American Eagle for $15 and added a statement gold double-strand necklace from Karma Loop for $22. The studded sandals are $30 from 2BStores.com, the Aldo purse is $40 and the two-tone sunglasses are $9.99 from CiciHot.com, bringing the cost of the entire look to $166.99.
