Retired Racehorse Gigi Teaches Riding at Square Peg

Gigi was the horse that started the program at Square Peg Foundation, an organization that uses horses to help people overcome challenges.
Deemed unrideable at the race track, Square Peg founder Joell took Gigi on 16 years ago, and still to this day - Gigi teaches everyone to ride properly. She has carried students over jumps, and on trails, and her rhythmic canter is awesome for back riding and lunge line lessons. Gigi is particular about when (and how) she is ridden, which makes her such a good school horse. Soft but firm, Gigi is the best teacher at lightness and clear communication.
