Description:

Horse racing loves Twitter! Last week Ciara Austin put together an awesome blog ‘Fifteen Twitter Accounts to Follow for Santa Anita Derby’ which included people to follow for all California racing. This week I’ve compiled some other great people and accents to follow for the upcoming Toyota Blue Grass Stakes at Keeneland Race Course.
1. @keeneland

Keeneland Race Course - home of the Grade 1 Toyota Blue Grass Stakes.
2. @JulienLeparoux

Julien Leparoux is an Eclipse Award-winning jockey and the current leading jockey at Keeneland. His wife, Shea (@SheaLeparoux), daughter of trainer Mike Mitchell, also is a great one to follow!
3. @RosieNapravnik

Rosie Napravnik, the only female jockey to have ridden in all three Triple Crown races and leading rider at Fair Grounds the past four years (2011-2014). She also was the leading rider at Keeneland for the fall 2013 meet, the first woman to earn that title.
4. @beckertrackside

Kurt Becker is Keeneland’s first and only track announcer. Becker has been the voice of Keeneland for the past 17 years.
5. @katiegensler

Katie Gensler is a handicapper and Keeneland racing analyst. She often posts her selections on Twitter, can be found interviewing trainers and jockeys, picking horses in the paddock and or hosting handicapping seminars at the track. Her favorite wager is the Pick 4.
6. @MikeABattaglia

Mike Battaglia, Keeneland’s longtime morning-line oddsmaker, is recognized as one of the best handicappers in America and a racing analyst for NBC’s Thoroughbred racing coverage. Fun fact: appeared in the 2010 movie “Secretariat”.

Simon Bray is a racing analyst for “The Jockey Club Tour on Fox” and TVG. Bray is a retired Thoroughbred trainer who trained Grade 1 winners Startac and Astra. He got his start working for British trainer Henry Cecil and when he moved to the U.S. he started as a hotwalker for Hall of Famer Bill Mott.

Retired jockey Richard Migliore is a racing analyst for “The Jockey Club Tour on Fox”  and HRTV. Nicknamed “the Mig,” Migliore rode his first race on Sept. 29, 1980. 12. @tvsmikejoyce

Mike Joyce is a racing analyst for TVG. He has been working at the track his entire life and has memories of being banned from Arlington Park’s Directors’ Room as a 3-year old after he tried to get his waiter to cash his ticket.
13.@CamHatsNYC and @Camhats_Blake

Christine Moore is the official milliner of the Breeders’ Cup and Ms. Racing Queen! They have hats for the ladies & fellas to sport at any day at the races. You can’t lose when you look good!
14. @ShopKeeneland

The Keeneland Gift Shop is amazing. It might be my favorite racetrack gift shop, just don’t expect to go in without expecting to walk out with a new purchase. Hopefully, you can cash some tickets on the races and spend some of your earnings here. Or, if you lose you can always buy yourself a consolation prize.
15. @FOXSports1
