Mohaymen won the Remsen Stakes to remain undefeated in three starts

Shadwell Stable's undefeated multiple grade II winner Mohaymen breezed a half-mile in :49 3/5 at Palm Meadows Training Center Dec. 31, the first work since his arrival in South Florida earlier in December.

The gray or roan son of Tapit   is scheduled to make his 3-year-old debut in the $350,000 Holy Bull Stakes (gr. II) Jan. 30 at Gulfstream Park. McLaughlin won the 2014 Holy Bull with Cairo Prince  .

"He looked great," trainer Kiaran McLaughlin said. "He was great and happy. He might skip a work but he's going to probably work weekly and point for the race at the end of the month."

Mohaymen, the $2.2 million sale-topper at the 2014 Keeneland September yearling sale, won his debut by a half-length Sept. 19 at Belmont Park. He has since put together back-to-back grade II stakes victories at Aqueduct Racetrack in the one-mile Nashua Nov. 4 and the 1 1/8-mile Remsen Nov. 28.

"It was time to get working again," McLaughlin said. "He has been training but we just took it easy for a few weeks because we had time. He's doing very well. We're real happy with him. He's a nice horse. We're looking forward to the Holy Bull."

Bred in Kentucky by Clearsky Farms, Mohaymen was purchased by Shadwell from the Clearsky consignment to the Keeneland yearling auction.
