Fasig-Tipton Midlantic Catalogs 580 Juveniles

Fasig-Tipton's Midlantic division has cataloged 580 entries for its 2-year-olds in training sale May 19-20 at Timonium, Md., with under-tack shows scheduled for May 14-15. In between the under-tack shows and the sale is the 139th Preakness Stakes (gr. I) on May 17 at Pimlico Race Course.
On the cover of the catalogs that will be mailed on or about April 21 are Mizdirection, who captured her second Breeders' Cup victory in last year's GEICO Turf Sprint (gr. IT), and Louisiana Derby (gr. II) winner Vicar's in Trouble, a candidate for the Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands (gr. I).
"We have numbers, a very high-quality group of sires, and racetrack results going for us right now," said Paget Bennett, local sales director. "Our graduates from this sale have proven themselves at the highest levels of racing all over North America."
