Michael Lund Peterson's Mor Spirit continued to work toward his 3-year-old debut Jan. 23 at Santa Anita Park with a six-furlong workout under regular jockey Gary Stevens.

The Pennsylvania-bred son of Eskendereya worked in company on the outside of fellow Bob Baffert trainee Mt Veeder and ran six furlongs in 1:13 3/5, clicking off fractions of :12 1/5, :23 4/5, :36 2/5, and :48 3/5.

"He felt super, like he always does," Stevens said after the drill. "(He's been training) really, really well."

It was Mor Spirit's fourth workout since his 1 1/4-length victory over stablemate Toews On Ice in the Los Alamitos Futurity (gr. I) Dec. 19.

The colt, a $650,000 purchase at the Fasig-Tipton Florida 2015 selected 2-year-olds in training sale, is expected to make his 2016 debut in the $150,000 Robert B. Lewis Stakes (gr. III) Feb. 6 at Santa Anita.

Other notable workouts at the Southern California racetrack Saturday morning were Exaggerator (seven furlongs, 1:25 4/5), El Kabeir (seven furlongs, 1:25 2/5), Forever Darling (four furlongs, :50 3/5), Whiskey Ticket (four furlongs, :47 2/5), and No Silent (five furlongs, 1:02 flat).
