Euphrosyne and Kiss Moonfillies aiming at the Longines Kentucky Oaks (gr. I)went to the track at Churchill Downs April 21 and breezed in preparation for the May 2 filly counterpart to the Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands (gr. I).

A daughter of Harlan's Holiday who has won or placed in all sever career starts, Euphrosyne worked outside a stablemate, breezing five furlongs in 1:02 1/5, with fractional splits of :13, :25 4/5, and :38 for three furlongs. The filly who finished second in Oaklawn Park's Honeybee Stakes (gr. III) before being elevated to first through disqualification galloped out six furlongs in 1:16 in her April 21 exercise regimen.

Euphrosyne, a Steve Asmussen-trained stablemate of probable Oaks favorite Untapable, comes into the Oaks off a third-place finish to Sugar Shack in the April 5 Fantasy Stakes (gr. III), also at Oaklawn.

Carl Pollard's homebred Kiss Moon, a Malibu Moon   filly trained by David Vance, worked five furlongs in 1:00 3/5, with fractional splits of :12 1/5, :24 1/5, and :36 2/5. She galloped out six furlongs in 1:13 4/5.

After winning her first two career starts by two and 9 1/2 lengths, respectively, Kiss Moon was moved into stakes company with mixed results. Following a troubled seventh in the Martha Washington at Oaklawn, the filly was fourth, 2 1/4 lengths behind the winner, in the Honeybee before being elevated to third and second in the Fantasy.

"She only ran two weeks ago and I didn't want her to do too much," Vance said. "I was happy with the work and probably will come back next Sunday for her last work before the Oaks."
