Aqueduct Cancels Live Racing Friday, Feb. 5
Description:
With a winter storm blowing through the Northeast and one to three inches of snowfall forecast, Aqueduct Racetrack canceled live racing for Friday, Feb. 5.
In addition to the snow, the high temperature was forecast to be 40 degrees with winds up to 22 miles per hour.
The New York Racing Association said Aqueduct would remain open for simulcasting, but the Belmont Café would be closed.
Live racing is scheduled to resume Saturday, Feb. 6.
