Tepin wins the 2015 Breeders' Cup Mile.

Breeders' Cup Mile (gr. IT) winner Tepin enjoyed a few weeks kicking up her heels in South Florida after beating the boys Oct. 31, but now it's time for Robert Masterson's Bernstein runner to get back to work.

Looking to launch a campaign that could include another run at the boys at Keeneland in the Maker's 46 Mile (gr. IT) this spring, trainer Mark Casse has entered 5-year-old Tepin in the $150,000 Lambholm South Endeavour Stakes (gr. IIIT) at Tampa Bay Downs

One of seven older fillies and mares set for the 1 1/16-mile test, Tepin departs post 5 with regular rider Julien Leparoux in the irons. She will carry co-highweight of 122 pounds, sharing that assignment with grade II winner Lady Lara

Tepin tuned up for her return to the races with a four-furlong breeze in :49.45 Feb. 6 at Palm Meadows Training Center, sixth-fastest of 21 at the distance there on the day.

Casse also has 2014 Queen's Plate winner Lexie Lou in this spot. The 5-year-old Sligo Bay   Ontario-bred finished third in a Jan. 13 Tampa Bay allowance, her return to racing off a year layup. Antonio Gallardo has the return call from the outside. Lexie Lou carries 116 pounds.

Lady Lara comes into this spot off a similar rest to Tepin. She also won her final race of 2015, the Nov. 21 My Charmer Handicap (gr. IIIT) at Gulfstream Park West. That score was a first since March of 2015 for the Bill Mott trainee, who took the Honey Fox Stakes (gr. IIT) at Gulfstream. Jose Lezcano has the mount from the 3 hole.

Todd Pletcher sends in grade I winner Photo Call off a sixth in the Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Turf (gr. IT) and Chad Brown has stakes winner Partisan Politics in the mix. Lovely Loyree and Bureau de Change complete the lineup.
