Brittlyn Stable's Forevamo has exited his second-place finish in the $400,000 Veterans Ford Risen Star Stakes (gr. II) in good order, according to trainer Al Stall and owner Evelyn Benoit.
In the Risen Star, the bay colt sat comfortably mid-pack and wheeled out at the top of the stretch to take aim on eventual winner Gun Runner, but ultimately fell a half-length short at the wire under Colby Hernandez.

"He's perfectly fine," Stall said. "He's been to the track twice since the race and looks good."
Stall confirmed all systems are go for the son of Uncle Mo for the TwinSpires.com $1 million Louisiana Derby (gr. II) Mar. 26 at Fair Grounds Race Course & Slots. Forevamo is a a half brother to 2011 champion female sprinter Musical Romance.
Forevamo's Risen Star effort marked the second consecutive time his Equibase Speed Figure has jumped more than 10 points from his previous effort. He earned an 80 when sixth in the $1,000,000 Delta Jackpot Stakes (gr. III) Nov. 21, followed by a 93 in a one-mile allowance prep Jan. 18, and then impressed with a 105 in the Risen Star, defying his 40-1 odds.
The stakes-winning Florida-bred, whose only victory is a tally in the $200,000 Jean Lafitte at Delta Downs Oct. 24, is expected to return to the work tab next week to continue preparing for his seventh start.
