Mahoning Valley Adds Pair of April Dates

Hollywood Gaming at Mahoning Valley Race Course has requested and received approval from the Ohio Racing Commission to add a pair of live racing days to the current racing season.
The added programs will be run on consecutive Wednesdays in April, the 13th and 20th. The added race cards are makeup days for the two racing programs lost to inclement weather. First post for the added racing programs will be 12:45 p.m. ET.
Penn National Gaming vice president of Ohio Racing Mark Loewe stated: "We discussed the possible dates with representatives of the Ohio Horsemen's Benevolent and Protective Association, and decided that April 13th and 20th are the best options available on our immediate calendar for our horsemen, staff, and customers."
Racing is conducted on a four-day-a-week schedule, Monday-Wednesday, and Saturday with a first post of 12:45 p.m. on Monday-Wednesday, and 12:15 p.m. on Saturday.
