The one-two finishers in the American Turf Stakes (gr. IIT) at Churchill Downs are set for a rematch in the $500,000 Penn Mile Stakes for 3-year-olds on the grass at Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course the evening of May 31.

The Penn Mile, first run last year, is one of five stakes on a 10-race program that begins at 6:05 p.m. EDT. The others are the $200,000 Mountainview Handicap for 3-year-olds and up at 1 1/8 miles; the $150,000 Pennsylvania Governor's Cup Stakes at five furlongs on the turf; the $100,000 Penn Oaks for 3-year-old fillies at one mile on the turf; and the $50,000 Penn Dash for 3-year-olds and up at five furlongs.

The Penn Mile, slotted as the fourth race, completes an all-stakes pick four wager. Post time for the Penn Mile is planned for 7:31 p.m. EDT.

Glen Hill Farm's Global View, trained by Tom Proctor, rallied from eighth place early to defeat front-running Storming Inti, owned by Santa Rosa Racing Stables and trained by Chad Brown, to win the 1 1/16-mile American Turf May 3 by a neck. Global View, a Kentucky-bred by Irish stallion Galileo, won the one-mile Generous Stakes (gr. IIIT) at one mile at Hollywood Park last fall and has three wins and a second in four turf starts.

Gary Stevens, who has ridden Global View in his two stakes wins, has a return call in the Penn Mile. Global View will carry co-high weight of 122 pounds and break from post 1 in an eight-horse field.

Storming Inti, who has three wins, a second, and two thirds in six grass starts, will break from post 5 under Alan Garcia at 122 pounds. The Pennsylvania-bred colt by Stormy Atlantic   won the Kitten's Joy Stakes on the grass in Florida this past winter and also finished a close third behind Gala Award and Mr Speakerthey both won turf stakes Memorial Day weekendin the Palm Beach Stakes (gr. IIIT).

Ken and Sarah Ramsey's Bobby's Kitten, who also gets in at 122 pounds, finished a well-beaten 12th in the Toyota Blue Grass Stakes (gr. I) on Polytrack in his previous start. He returns to his favorite surface in the Penn Mile off a series of solid works at the Oklahoma training track in Saratoga Springs, N.Y.

Brown also trains Bobby's Kitten, a Kentucky homebred by Kitten's Joy   who should ensure an honest pace in Saturday's race. Regular rider Javier Castellano is named aboard Bobby's Kitten from post 4.
