One of horse racing’s premier racecourses opens this Friday, when Keeneland celebrates the start of its 2016 spring meet. Just a day later, the track will host the Grade 1, $1-million Toyota Blue Grass Stakes, which will serve as a launching point to the Kentucky Derby for at least the top two finishers in the race.
There’s plenty of other good racing to go along with the many sights, sounds and personalities of Keeneland. To get you prepared for the meet, we’ve put together a list off the best Twitter and Instagram accounts to follow if you want to stay on top of all the action at Keeneland.

Keeneland played host to the 2015 Breeders’ Cup, and the 2016 Keeneland Spring Meet will no doubt feature horses who will appear later on this fall at the 2016 Breeders’ Cup at Santa Anita.
