Found Money wins King Glorious Stakes

Reddam Racing's homebred Found Money, a multiple stakes-winning 3-year-old colt, was euthanized after he sustained an injury in a workout April 4 at Santa Anita Park.

Trainer Doug O'Neill, in an announcement on Facebook, said the Square Eddie   colt "was a barn favorite with a big personality, and he will be missed by all."

Found Money, bred in California out of the General Meeting mare Chanel My Belle, won three of nine starts for earnings of $292,100. Last year at 2 he won the listed Santa Anita Juvenile and the King Glorious Stakes for state-breds at Los Alamitos Race Course.

In his career debut in May, Found Money established a Santa Anita track record for 4 1/2 furlongs when he won in :50.89.

Reddam Racing and O'Neill won the April 2 Xpressbet.com Florida Derby (gr. I) with Nyquist, who is undefeated in seven starts and headed to the May 7 Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands (gr. I).
