Cash Is King Stable's Cathryn Sophia, who sustained her first loss when she finished third in the Central Bank Ashland Stakes (gr. I) at Keeneland, will not contest the Longines Kentucky Oaks (gr. I), according to trainer John Servis.

"(Owner) Chuck (Zacney) and I talked it over last night and we may leave her here and point to the ($200,000) Eight Belles (grade II, May 6)," Servis said April 10 from Keeneland. "We will shorten her up a little bit and get her back on track."

With a quarantine in place at Parx Racing, where Servis is based, the trainer said the multiple grade II-winning daughter of Street Boss   would remain at Keeneland.

Cathryn Sophia lost for the first time in five starts. Saturday's race was her first time going two turns.

"(Jockey) Javier (Castellano) said she gave him a little run and then kind of hung," Servis said. "There are a lot of one-turn races coming up."
