Fellowship finished third in the Florida Derby.

Trainer Mark Casse has confirmed that he has picked up 14 horses from Fred Brei's Jacks or Better Farm that were previously trained in South Florida by Stanley Gold.

Included in the group of horses is Jacks or Better Farm homebred Fellowship. The 3-year-old son of Awesome of CourseGo Girlfriend Go, by Demidoff, was third in the April 2 Xpressbet.com Florida Derby (gr. I) behind champion Nyquist and Majesto and will be pointed toward the May 7 Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands (gr. I).

Fellowship, along with Awesome Banner, will join Casse's stable at Churchill Downs in Louisville, Ky. The other horses will remain in training in South Florida.

Fellowship has a 2-3-3 mark from 11 starts, all in South Florida for Gold, and has earned $563,340.

Awesome Banner (Awesome of CourseMiranda Stands, by Zamindar) has won two of four starts this year including the Hutcheson (gr. III) and Swale (gr. II) stakes. The 3-year-old was eighth in the Lambholm South Tampa Bay Derby (gr. II) last time out.

Brei's Jacks or Better Farm has bred and owned a myriad of top runners including 2010 champion juvenile filly Awesome Feather.

Over the weekend Casse earned his ninth Sovereign Award as the outstanding trainer in Canada.
