Sweet Reason came from off the pace to register her second grade I victory in the $750,000 TVG Acorn Stakes June 7 at Belmont Park .
Irad Ortiz Jr. guided the 3-year-old daughter of Street Sense to victory for Treadway Racing Stable and trainer Leah Gyarmati, with Sweet Whiskey second and Unbridled Forever third in the field of 13 sophomore fillies. The final time for one mile was 1:34.98.
Sweet Reason was bred in Kentucky by Brent and Beth Harris and Darley.
