Catch a Glimpse worked a half-mile in :49 2/5.

Three candidates for the $125,000 Appalachian Presented by Japan Racing Association (gr. IIIT) April 14 worked on the main track after the April 8 morning renovation break at Keeneland.

Catch a Glimpse, winner of all four of her grass starts, including a victory last fall in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf (gr. IT), worked a half-mile in :49 2/5. Keeneland clockers got her first quarter-mile in :24 2/5 and out to five furlongs in 1:03 1/5. Mark Casse trains the 3-year-old daughter of City Zip   for Gary Barber, Michael James Ambler, and Windways Farm.

NOVAK: Catch a Glimpse Gives Casse First BC Win

Florida Oaks (gr. IIIT) winner Baciami Piccola worked a half-mile in company in :47 3/5 with jockey Julien Leparoux aboard. Baciami Piccola started two lengths behind her workmate and surged past at the wire, galloping out to five furlongs in 1:01 flat. Brian Lynch trains the daughter of French-bred stallion Equiano for Amerman Racing.

Ava's Kitten, who finished fifth as the favorite in the Florida Oaks, worked a half-mile in company in :49 3/5. Ken and Sarah Ramsey's homebred Kitten's Joy   filly was clocked in :24 4/5 for the first quarter and galloped out to five furlongs in 1:03 flat for trainer Chad Brown.

Prior to Baciami Piccola's work, Lynch sent out Maker's 46 Mile (gr. IT) probable Heart to Heart. With Leparoux aboard, Heart to Heart worked a half-mile in :48 4/5, with an opening quarter in :23 4/5 and five-eighths gallop out in 1:02 2/5.

Trainer Todd Pletcher also worked horses for upcoming Keeneland stakes, including General a Rod and two-time grade I winner Curalina.

Curalina, unraced since a third-place finish in the Breeders' Cup Distaff (gr. I) at Keeneland, worked five furlongs in 1:00 2/5. The Curlin   filly was timed in :36 for her first three-eighths and galloped out to six furlongs in 1:14, in preparation for the $100,000 Hilliard Lyons Doubledogdare (gr. III) April 22.

General a Rod, pointing to the $200,000 Ben Ali (gr. III) April 16, worked a half-mile in :48 2/5 with an opening quarter in :24 and and a gallop out in 1:02.
