Click here for more information and reservations.
For more public and private events and information check out the Breeders' Cup event website.

The Breeders’ Cup is all about attracting the best of the best. There are a few ways a horse can qualify for a Breeders’ Cup race. The first is by winning a Breeders’ Cup Challenge "Win and You're In" race. There are 67 Breeders’ Cup Challenge races throughout the year, spanning 10 different countries. As long as the winners of these races are Breeders’ Cup nominated by Oct. 21, their connections receive money to cover travel fees and expenses.

BREEDERS' CUP FAQs
Q: Is the Breeders' Cup meet held at Santa Anita every year?
A: No, the location of the event varies, but it has frequently been held at Santa Anita, Churchill, Gulfstream, or Belmont Park due to the large size of the event.

Q: What flowers make up the championship flower garland?
A: Rare flowers including Beauty Asters, Golden Asters, Cattelaya Orchids, and Cremons make up the official flower garland. This variety of flowers have been grown exclusively for Breeders' Cup since 1988.

Q: Who inspired the Breeders' Cup Trophy?
A: Each of the 15 winners will recieve a certified bronze replica of the original 1580's Torrie horse created by Giovanni da Bologna in Florence. The horse's muscles are detailed showing the influence of Leonardo da Vinci.
