Dual-registered filly Painting the Sky
Sandra New's Painting the Sky, a dual-registered Thoroughbred/Paint 3-year-old filly, will put her two-race win streak on the line the evening of May 19 at Evangeline Downs Racetrack, Casino & Hotel in Louisiana.
Trained by Brett Brinkman, Painting the Sky is a Louisiana-bred by Yankee Gentleman out of the Lone Star Sky mare Lone Star Quest. She was bred by her owner.
Painting the Sky is one of eight entered in an allowance/optional claiming event at one mile on the turf course. In her previous start the filly won an allowance race on the main track at Delta Downs Racetrack, Casino & Hotel.
Painting the Sky, to be ridden again by Junior Inirio, has a record of two wins and a second in four starts for earnings of $57,260.
