Are You Kidding Me, last year's Sovereign Award winner for champion older horse, is set to make his second start of the year in the Eclipse Stakes (Can-II) May 28 at Woodbine.
The 6-year-old horse from the barn of trainer Roger Attfield will go postward off of an eighth-place finish in his season debut in the Maker's 46 Mile Stakes (gr. IT) at Keeneland for owners Ronald Kirk, John Bates, and Michael Riordan.
The graded-stakes winning son of Run Away and Hide has turned in a series of bullet works in April and May, and has won three graded stakes at Woodbine.
Also entered is Live Oak Plantation's Florida Won, a 5-year-old gelding bred by Gainesway. He's being sent out from the barn of Mark Casse, and also has prior success at Woodbine in graded stakes. The Eclipse Stakes is his season debut, and he has been working steadily for his return since turning in an eighth-place finish in the Autumn Stakes (Can-II) in November.
Ivan Dalos' 5-year-old Ami's Holiday, trained by Josie Carroll and bred by Tall Oaks Farm, is looking to get back on the board for the first time in 2016 after his first two starts of the year, with his most recent being a fourth-place finish in the Challenger Stakes at Tampa Bay Downs in March.
He also has stakes success at Woodbine, in 2013 and 2014, and has won or been on the board in 10 of his 18 lifetime starts.
Stakes winners Breaking Lucky and Melmich and allowance winner Peyton round out the field.
