Hall of Fame induction ceremony in 2015

The National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame, citing "high demand and limited available seating," on May 26 announced that this year's Hall of Fame ceremony will require a ticket available exclusively to museum members.

The ceremony is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. EDT Aug. 12 at the Fasig-Tipton sale pavilion in Saratoga Springs, N.Y.

Museum members can reserve a maximum of two tickets on a first-come, first-served basis by contacting the museum's membership office at (518) 584-0400, extension 109. There will be no charge for tickets.

Tickets will be available for pickup at a will call desk at Fasig-Tipton beginning at 8:30 a.m. the morning of the ceremony. Tickets will not be mailed or available at the museum.

Though there will be no general public seating at this year's inductions, the ceremony will be streamed live on the Internet at racingmuseum.org and will be broadcast live on the Horse Racing Radio Network and its website.

Four were selected in this year's comtemporay category: Trainer Steve Asmussen, jockey Ramon Dominguez, and Horses of the Year Rachel Alexandra and Zenyatta.
