OBS June Sale Adds 44 Horses

The Ocala Breeders’ Sales Co. has added five older horses and 39 juveniles to its June 2-year-olds in training and horses of racing age sale that will be held in Ocala, Fla., June 14-17.
The supplemental horses, cataloged as Hips 1183–1226, will sell after the racing age section June 17 and will breeze during the sixth under tack session on June 10.

There are now 1,193 2-year-olds and 29 older horses cataloged for the four-day sale, which begins daily at 10:30 a.m. EDT.
The under tack show will be divided into six sessions, scheduled for Sunday, June 5 through Friday, June 10, with each session beginning at 7:30 a.m. EDT. Hips 1–200 will breeze on Sunday, Hips 201–400 go on Monday, Hips 401–600 will work on Tuesday, Hips 601–800 will go on Wednesday, Hips 801–1000 breeze Thursday and Hips 1001–1226 will go on Friday.
The sale and under tack show will be streamed live via the OBS website and also via the Bloodhorse.com and DRF.com websites. Video replays of the works will be available on DVD and on the OBS website, as well as in the video room adjacent to the Horsemen’s Lounge and at kiosks in the breezeway and covered walking ring areas. Current information about OBS sales, consignors and graduates is now also available via social media sites Facebook and Twitter. A link on the homepage directs users to either site.
Sales results will be available on the OBS website, updated hourly during each session of the June sale.
