Grade I winner Sheer Drama put in her final work for Belmont Park's June 11 Ogden Phipps (gr. I) June 2, breezing five furlongs in a bullet :59.32 at Gulfstream Park.
The 6-year-old Burning Roma mare, who is trained by David Fawkes for owner and breeder Harold Queen, galloped out to six furlongs in 1:12 4/5.
"She worked really good," Fawkes said. "She went really, really well (with a) strong finish. ... Really happy with the work."
Sheer Drama won the 2015 Delaware Handicap (gr. I) and Personal Ensign (gr. I), and started her 2016 season with a victory in the Madison (gr. I), beating Breeders' Cup Distaff (gr. I) victress Stopchargingmaria. She enters the Phipps off a third-place finish May 6 in the La Troienne (gr. I) at Churchill Downs.

"She came out of the race fine," Fawkes said. "I just don't think she likes the racetrack. She's run three times there. She's had a couple seconds and a third. She just doesn't like that track."
