Cash is King's Longines Kentucky Oaks (gr. I) winner Cathryn Sophia will make her first appearance since that May 6 career-high victory when she takes on Black-Eyed Susan (gr. II) winner Go Maggie Go in the $700,000 Acorn Stakes (gr. I) June 11 at Belmont Park.

LAMARRA: Cathryn Sophia Gets Distance, Takes KY Oaks

Cathryn Sophia, who is expected to arrive in New York June 10 from trainer John Servis' Monmouth Park base, enters off an impressive five-furlong move there in :58 2/5 June 1.

After winning the 1 1/8-mile Kentucky Oaks, the daughter of Street Boss   turns back to the Acorn's one-mile distance under regular rider Javier Castellano. In her only previous start at a mile, she romped by seven lengths in the Feb. 27 Davona Dale Stakes (gr. II) at Gulfstream Park.

NOVAK: Cathryn Sophia Flawless in Davona Dale

"She looks great," Servis said. "(Strategy) will depend on how the race sets up, but I'll leave that up to Javier."

Castellano will be in the irons for the fourth consecutive time. He won the Oaks aboard the fleet-footed runner, and book-ended that win with the Davona Dale victory leading to a third in the Central Bank Ashland Stakes (gr. I). The duo departs post 5 in a field of six sophomore fillies.

"It's a solid field for sure," Servis said. "I'm not sure if you can compare it, because of the different distances, but it's a good field of fillies."

Go Maggie Go, trained by Dale Romans, has won three of her first four career starts, including a 2 1/2-length victory in the May 20 Black-Eyed Susan at Pimlico Race Course

NOVAK: Go Maggie Go Soars in Black-Eyed Susan

"She's special," Romans said. "It's going to be a good race. It's a really hot race, and you could see a champion come out of there."

Go Maggie Go will make her fourth straight graded stakes start. Mike Tarp's bay filly registered her maiden-breaking victory on March 13 and parlayed that showing into a 2 1/4-length win in the Gulfstream Park Oaks (gr. II) before heading to Churchill Downs for a fourth in the Oaks.

"She's the first horse I ever took off a maiden win and won a grade II," Romans said. "I'm glad I did, because it put us right where I need to be in these other races. Nobody expected her to do that, and I didn't know that she could. I just figured she was doing good and like we say, if they're doing good, run them. She was impressive."

Jockey Luiz Saez has ridden Go Maggie Go in every start, including that strong performance in the Kentucky Oaks in which she went from seventh at the stretch to finish fourth in a crowded field. He will be in the saddle again, this time from the outside post.

"The best race she ever ran was the Oaks," Romans said. "She got left and it was the first time she really ate a lot of dirt. I think if he stayed left-handed from the quarter pole, she'd (be) second. I thought that was a very impressive race. The wins are nice, but she overcame a lot to be where she was in that 14-horse field of good fillies."

Three Chimneys Farm's Carina Mia will give the talented field three multiple graded stakes winners. Carina Mia registered a six-length win last out in the Eight Belles Stakes (gr. II) and also won the Golden Rod Stakes (gr. II) at Churchill in her stakes debut. Trained by Hall of Famer Bill Mott, Carina Mia will be making her second grade I start after a fourth-place finish in the Ashland after leading early. She will leave post 4.

HAMMONDS: Carina Mia Wins Eight Belles at 3-5

Rounding out the field are Forever Darling, a Kentucky-bred daughter of Congrats  , who came in second last out in the listed Angels Flight Stakes at Santa Anita Park, and Paola Queen, who will make her first start since a ninth-place Kentucky Oaks finish.

Trainer Todd Pletcher has Off the Tracks cross entered in both Friday's $150,000 Jersey Girl Stakes and the Acorn. She is slated to leave from post position 2 with Hall of Famer John Velazquez in the irons. Velazquez will also be in the saddle if she starts the Jersey Girl instead.
