HRRN Sets Schedule of Belmont Stakes Coverage

Horse Racing Radio Network, the official radio home of the Triple Crown and Breeders' Cup World Championships, will provide exclusive coverage of the Belmont Stakes (gr. I) beginning at 2 p.m. EDT June 11.
HRRN's on-site broadcast includes five graded stakes on Belmont day undercard, including the Metropolitan Handicap and Ogden Phipps (both gr. I). Undercard coverage is presented by Barbados Tourism and can be heard throughout North America on SiriusXM Channel 93 as well as on select HRRN affiliates with live streaming available at the HRRN website.
Coverage of the Belmont, produced in partnership with NBC Sports and Westwood One, will run from 5-7 p.m. Mike Penna will anchor the broadcasts along with analyst Kurt Becker. Jude Feld, Jeff Bloom, and Tom Leach will provide trackside reports and interviews, and NBC announcer Larry Collmus, also the voice of Belmont Park, will have the live call of the races.
HRRN will begin its June 11 schedule with a special Belmont Stakes edition of the network's "Equine Forum" program from 8-10 a.m.
Friday coverage on HRRN includes an Xpressbet Radio broadcast from 3-6 p.m. and the Xpressbet Weekend Stakes Preview from 6-7 p.m.
