Description:
Classic winners Kingman and Night of Thunder will renew their hot rivalry June 17 at Royal Ascot in the St. James's Palace Stakes (Eng-I) for 3-year-olds.

Juddmonte's homebred Kingman trounced Night of Thunder in the Greenham Stakes (gr. III) April 12 at Newbury in the season debuts for both colts. After Saeed Manana's Night of Thunder reversed that finish in a 40-1 upset in the QIPCO Two Thousand Guineas (Eng-I) May 3 at Newmarket, Kingman went on classic success at the Curragh in the Tattersalls Irish Two Thousand Guineas (Ire-I) May 24 .

The seven-horse field also includes Middleham Park Racing and James Pak's Toormore and Coolmore and partners and Joseph Allen's War Command, both group I winners as juveniles who are looking to make amends for unplaced finished in the Guineas at Newmarket.

War Command already has a Royal Ascot victory as a dominant six-length winner in last year's Coventry Stakes (Eng-II). Toormore was a two-length winner of the Craven Stakes (Eng-III) in his start before the Guineas.

Charlie Appleby sends out Godolphin's Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf (gr. I) winner Outstrip, who was last of 14 at Newmarket.
