I'll Have Another, a 7-year-old son of Flower Alley—Arch's Gal Edith, by Arch, stands at Big Red Farm in Hokkaido, Japan. He launched his stud career there in 2013 following his $10 million sale, and has 101 2-year-olds in his first crop.
I'll Have Another was named champion 3-year-old male of 2012 following an undefeated season that included the Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands, Preakness Stakes, Santa Anita Derby (all gr. I) and Robert B. Lewis Stakes (gr. II). He was retired due to a leg injury the day before the Belmont Stakes (gr. I).
Facing 15 2-year-old first-time starters, Big Red Farm's Un Autre won by 1 3/4 lengths under Masami Matsuoka and covered 1,600 meters (about one mile) in 1:37.06 on turf rated good.
