Fasig-Tipton Kentucky’s July sale begins July 11.
The interactive catalog for Fasig-Tipton Kentucky’s July selected horses of racing age sale is now available online.
The sale will be held Monday, July 11, at 5 p.m. (all times Eastern) in Lexington and will precede the July selected yearling sale that will take place the following day beginning at 10 a.m.
The catalog currently has 100 accepted entries, but that number will grow as Fasig-Tipton will continue to review and accept nominations until sale time.
“Now in its fourth year, this auction has gained a strong foothold with both buyers and sellers,” said Fasig-Tipton president and CEO Boyd Browning Jr. “Our best advertisement, however, is the strength of our graduates. The sale has produced 25% stakes horses and earners of more than $11.5 million to date, including last year’s TwinSpires Breeders’ Cup Filly & Mare Sprint (gr. I) champion Wavell Avenue.”
Included in this year’s catalog is the dispersal of Eutrophia Farm, which consists of mares and foals, yearlings, 2-year-olds, and horses of racing age.
The sale’s enhanced online catalog features pedigrees, race videos, statistical links, Ragozin “sheet” numbers, real-time past performances, as well as assessment of each horse by the Daily Racing Form’s national handicapper Mike Watchmaker.
Prospective buyers may also sign up for email alerts through Fasig-Tipton’s website to receive pedigree and race-record updates, as well as notifications of new sale entries as they are accepted.
The catalog will also be available via the equineline sales catalog app. Print catalogs will be available on the sales grounds by July 8.
