HRRN to Broadcast Queen's Plate Live

Horse Racing Radio Network announced it will broadcast live from Woodbine Racetrack this weekend to provide coverage of the Queen’s Plate, Canada’s oldest and most prestigious Thoroughbred race and longest continuously run race in North America..
HRRN’s Queen’s Plate broadcast July 3 will be from 4-6 p.m. EDT on Sirius channel 106/XM 201 and will be streamed worldwide on the HRRN website, www.horseracingradio.net.
The Queen’s Plate, first contested in 1860, is the second broadcast this year which HRRN has hosted from an international venue. In March, HRRN broadcast the Sandy Lane Gold Cup from Garrison Savannah in Barbados.
HRRN’s coverage begins July 2 from 8-10 a.m. ET with a special Queen’s Plate edition of the weekly talk show “Equine Forum” live from Woodbine. “Equine Forum” can be heard on SiriusXM 93, HRRN affiliates across the country and accessed via live streaming provided on the HRRN website.
HRRN president Mike Penna will anchor the coverage along with analyst Jude Feld. Retired jockey Jeff Bloom will provide paddock reports and interviews.
