Three-Year Breeders' Cup Plan to be Announced

Santa Anita Park announced it will hold a morning press conference June 24 to "announce a three-year plan for the two-day Breeders' Cup World Championships that includes The Great Race Place."
Sources say that Breeders' Cup is prepared to announce that the event will be held at Keeneland in 2015, at Santa Anita in 2016, and at Del Mar in 2017.
Scheduled for the 7:30 a.m. "Breakfast on the Breeders' Cup" press conference are Peter Rotondo, Breeders' Cup vice president of media and entertainment, and Tom Ludt, Santa Anita president. The breakfast is to be held at Santa Anita's "Clockers' Corner."
Santa Anita is to host the event in 2014 for the third straight year and eighth time overall.
