Martin, Blackfoot Mystery Set for Olympics

In his second Olympic competition in three-day eventing, rider Boyd Martin will pair with off-track Thoroughbred Blackfoot Mystery for the competition set to begin Saturday, Aug. 6.

Martin and Blackfoot Mystery were profiled in a feature in the July 30, 2016 issue of BloodHorse magazine.

The eventing competition will begin with dressage from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. EST on Aug. 6 and 7, and will continue with cross country from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Aug. 8; and show jumping 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Aug. 9.

The eventing competition will stream live at NBCOlympics.com and the NBC Sports mobile app. Also eventing will be showcased on USA Network from 3-4 p.m. Aug. 6, covering the day's dressage competition; followed by a live broadcast of cross country from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 8, and live coverage on USA of show jumping from 9-11:30 a.m. and 1-2 p.m. Aug. 9.
